Lexington County Fire Service responded to a commercial structure fire in the 4600 block of Edmund Highway near South Congaree, before noon Wednesday. Two lanes of Edmund Highway were shut down while emergency crews worked.

By 1 p.m. the Lexington County Fire Service reported Edmund Highway had reopened and that the scene was under control. There were no injuries reported. The LCFS Fire Marshal Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
