Hummingbird Drive in West Columbia’s Westover Acres has long suffered from large pot holes to the point some residents are complaining about damage to their vehicle from the poor road.

Earlier in the spring, Cardinal Drive in Westover Acres was repaved, along with Redbird Drive. A crew contracted by the SC Department of Transportation paved the road. But Hummingbird, a main artery into the neighborhood, that curves into Saluda River Drive, has not been re-paved. But some of the pot holes on Hummingbird and and damaged road has been filled in in the last week. Below are some photos of the pot holes and the fill-in material.
