The Cayce-West Columbia Ozone Dixie Youth Baseball team won the SC State Championship earlier this month. The C-WC team began play last Thursday in Dixie Youth Baseball World Series in Ruston, LA.
The team is 3-1 at the World Series, so far.

On Thursday South Carolina defeated Louisiana 14 – 2. On Friday SC beat Florida 4 – 2. On Saturday South Carolina defeated Texas, 5-2. The C-WC team suffered a loss on Sunday, falling to Tennessee 11-7, in the double-elimination tournament. South Carolina takes the field again at 11 a.m. EST, Monday versus Texas.
