The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a deadly shooting that happened at a business in the 3900 block of Platt Springs Road early Sunday morning. It’s in the Three Fountains area.

Based on the interviews investigators have done so far, the shooting stemmed from an argument between two men who worked together at the business. The two men were arguing, then fighting and a third person fired a shot that struck one of the men.

Deputies have identified a person of interest and work on the case continues. Anyone with information can share those tips with Crimestoppers.
