Irmo Fire and Irmo Police Department were on the scene of a large water main break, around 7:45 PM. Tuesday on Lake Murray Blvd at St Andrew’s Rd.

The road is damaged and traffic is backed up on both roads. Irmo Fire said drivers should expect substantial delays in the area well into the night as repairs are made. Police also asked drivers to use alternate routes and avoid the intersection if you can.
