One person died, Sunday in a crash in Lexington County.

It happened about 3:30 p.m. about five miles east of Gilbert, according to Lance Cpl. Lena Butler of the SC Highway Patrol.

Butler said a 2018 Nissan Rogue, traveling on Secondary Road 1910 near Bluefield Road, ran off the right side of the road and hit a fence and a tree, then overturned. The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The SC Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
