Brookland-Cayce High School’s Golf team was in Spartanburg Monday and Tuesday to compete in the 3A SC High School Golf Championship. The Bearcats didn’t win the championship but were one of only eight Lower State teams to qualify for the Championship.

BC’s The golf team members are (pictured below): Reese Hadley; Henry Ward; Lucas Castles; Paxton Mergo; Sullivan Castles; and Kamden Sox. The Head Coach is Eric Solomon and the Assistant Coach is Thomas Willard.

Gray Collegiate Academy’s Golf team was in Newberry, Monday and Tuesday, to compete in the 2A SC High School Golf Championship. The War Eagles placed third out of 16 Upper State and Lower State teams in the field.  The team shot a two-day total of 613. It marked GCA’s lowest two rounds of the season.
