Taylor Watford Foundation featured on WIS-TV, 5K run/walk is Saturday

The Taylor Watford Foundation is being featured in a segment on WIS-TV. The segment is running before Saturday’s (May 20) Taylor Watford Foundation 5K run/walk.

Greg Adaline of WIS-TV interviews Jade Watford in the video clip. Jade is the sister of Taylor Watford, the Brookland-Cayce High School graduate and athlete who lost his life after accidently overdosing on a substance that contained fentanyl two days after Christmas in 2018.

“One pill can kill,” is the message imparted in the segment, along with the high-risk in street drugs that are all too common in Lexington County, and everywhere else. Drug overdose deaths are at an all-time high because of the prevalence of deadly drugs on the street. Jade said statistics show that 50 percent of all street drugs likely contain fentanyl.
