The rehab of the I-77 northbound bridges around Cayce and West Columbia has been completed. The job was done more than 24 hours ahead of schedule, according to the SCDOT. Work on the interstate has caused long lines of traffic in West Columbia, Columbia, Cayce and Lexington.

I-77 is currently open to traffic in both directions, between I-26 and the Bluff Road Exit. Rehab of the southbound bridges of the same stretch between I-26 and Bluff Road is scheduled to begin the evening of Friday, April 14.
