One person was killed in a crash on Sharon Church Rd near Antioch Church Rd. in Lexington County.

According to Trooper Tyler Tidwell of the SCHP, the crash occurred at 8:40 p.m. Friday.

A pick-up truck was traveling west on Sharon Church Rd. The driver ran off the right side of the road, then overcorrected to the left side of the road. The truck then hit a ditch and then a phone box, causing the truck to overturn several times. The Lexington County Coroner’s Office is expected to release the name of the deceased.
