Firefighters from the Irmo Fire District, along with units from Lexington County Fire, Columbia Fire and West Columbia fire, extinguished a kitchen fire, Thursday night, in an apartment building in the 200 block of Woodland Village Drive. The fire did substantial damage to one apartment, but was stopped before it could damage any adjacent units. There were no injuries, the cause is under investigation. (IFD photo)
