American Pickers looking for leads in South Carolina

American Pickers, or Mike and Frank from the popular History Channel show are coming to South Carolina in March. The American Pickers crew will be in North Carolina, too, that month.

American Pickers have visited Lexington County before. Specifically, the grounds of the old Harmon Tree Farm. The crew has visited a concrete shop in Orangeburg and former SC Rep. Tim Wilkes in Winnsboro, too.

The show is usually hosted by Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz, who travel America’s back roads seeking historical finds. The show’s organizers look for people who may have a collection of antiques or a rare items of interest.
The team visits homes, outbuildings, barns and storage buildings in the hunt for unique pieces of history.

The pickers have found and purchased antique motorcycles, toys, a bear trap, and old signs from gas stations, among other artifacts.

If you have a large collection, or you know someone who does, you can help American Pickers start the year with new picks. Call or email with your leads at: EMAIL: [email protected]
