The Irmo Fire District responded to a two alarm commercial structure fire, Monday evening, involving a strip mall in the 3600 block of Bush River Road. Link to video

The fire was extinguished with help from Columbia Fire, Lexington County Fire, West Columbia Fire and Cayce Fire. The large number of firefighters that responded saved the bulk of the strip mall, preventing the fire from spreading and limiting damage to a few occupancies on one end. There were no injuries, and the cause is under investigation.
