24 Hour Pickleball facility being built in Lexington
Pickleball is said to be the fastest growing sport in the country. To meet the demand for a place to play, a new pickleball facility is coming to Lexington County. According to its owners it will be the largest indoor pickleball facility in South Carolina.
24 Hour Pickleball is being built at 4590 Augusta Rd. in Lexington.
24 Hour Pickleball will solicit members-only and it will host tournaments and league play. The club will have coaches and training available, too.
24 Hour Pickleball is billed as a state-of-the-art facility. It is expected to consist of 12 pickleball courts. Eight of them will be indoor and four will be outdoor.
Construction is expected to be complete by the summer of 2023. The indoor courts will be covered by an air-filled dome. The courts will be able to stay open in any weather and during any time of the year.
The club will also include outdoor space for special events, with room for food trucks.
