A single vehicle crashed into a Minnie’s Auto Repair at a high rate of speed, Monday evening, according to the Irmo Fire District. The crash happened on St Andrews Road near Commercial Drive. The collision substantially damaged several walls of Minnie’s Auto Repair. The vehicle went through the building and exited the other side.

The crash caused the building to be structurally unstable. Irmo Fire crews worked to secure the building. One person was transported by Lexington County EMS. Several lanes were closed on St Andrews Road while the area was cleaned up. (Irmo Fire District photos)
