The zombies are prowling for Halloween at 1705 Redbird Lane in West Columbia.

The display of scary wooden figures is a creation of artist Jeff Matthews who lives at the house. He began presenting The Wooden Dead seven years ago.

Matthews cuts out and sketches the zombies to attract visitors to the home of his and his wife Candy.
The display has become a favorite for Halloween decoration cruisers.
