Lexington County has published a Recycle Guide for disposing of items collected during the Christmas season. The City of West Columbia re-published the guide on its Facebook page. Click here for link

On the recycle list for your recycle bin is: cardboard; wrapping paper; magazines; greeting cards; wine bottles; and plastic cartons.

Do not put Christmas lights, used cooking oil or shredded paper in recycle bins, the county advises. Those items need to be taken to recycle centers for disposal.
