The Cayce-West Columbia Chamber of Commerce-sponsored “Parade of Lights” has been cancelled for 2020.

The Chamber’s Board of Directors decided to cancel parade, it was announced Thursday.

The parade has become a tradition and a part of our community – the chamber wrote in a release – and one that all enjoy. However after much deliberation, safety for all during this pandemic remains a priority and in the best interest of all, large crowds could be problematic.

The chamber asks that you take the day of the parade (Saturday, Dec. 12) to Shop Local, decorate and light up your business, car and homes.
