The Springdale Police Department is holding a special dedication ceremony in the memory of Faye Marie Swetlik. It is at 7 p.m. on Sept. 22 at Benton Park, 2915 Platt Springs Rd.

Little Faye, is the six-year-old Springdale Elementary School student who went missing from her Churchill Heights home in Cayce on the afternoon of Monday, Feb. 10. She was abducted and later found deceased. The man who killed her later committed suicide.

The organizers ask that you wear a bright color because Faye loved all colors.
