Cayce-West Columbia Chamber kicks-off rebranding effort
From Ashley Hunter – Project Manager – The Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center has announced plans to kick off a community branding campaign that will reinvest time and funding into promoting local Chamber businesses and their services in the Cayce and West Columbia community.
The goal of the branding campaign is to bring together a collective group of local business leaders and citizens, along with municipal leaders, that are passionate about seeing the region thrive.
Chamber Board Chairman, Thomas Tafel stated, “To bring a cohesive look, to provide creative services and to extend new membership benefits, we don’t need to look to out of state companies. Our Chamber members have exactly what we need right here in the Cayce-West Columbia area that will make this branding project a tremendous success.”
The Chamber has asked the City of West Columbia and the City of Cayce to each appoint four members to the Community Branding Committee that will start meeting next week.
“There is absolutely no better voice to recruit visitors, economic development opportunities and potential businesses for our area than those that already live and work here,” said new Chamber President and CEO, Tim James.
A Request for Proposals for creative services and membership services will be sent out to all Chamber member next Friday (Sept. 4.) From there, the elements and collateral from the branding campaign will utilize the services and talent of Chamber members.
The Chamber and Visitors Center expects to unveil its new look by early 2021. Committee members will begin meeting next week virtually.
