The Gervais Street Bridge Dinner has transferred ownership from Soda City Friends to a new nonprofit, Carolina Together. The change was announced in a press release, Monday.

This date for this year’s Gervais Street Bridge Dinner is Oct. 18. Preparations have already started for the dinner.

The Gervais Street Bridge Dinner is an annual seated sunset Sunday supper on the Columbia region’s most iconic landmark, featuring live music, vibrant artists, and a three-course dinner with cocktails, beer, and wine. The GSBD is managed by non-profit event organizer Carolina Together.

The sole purpose of Carolina Together is to manage and maintain premier fundraising events for the community. There will be minimal changes to the Gervais Street Bridge Dinner.

Erin Curtis, the Gervais Street Bridge Dinner’s Event Director for the last three years, remains onboard to help manage and guide the event as it continues to grow.

The Gervais Street Bridge Dinner is an annual seated sunset Sunday supper on the Columbia region’s most iconic landmark, featuring live music, vibrant artists, and a three-course dinner with cocktails, beer, and wine. The GSBD is managed by non-profit event organizer Carolina Together.
In its first five years, the 1200+ person event has resulted in the donation of more than $250,000 to local charities.
