Bridge-Dinner

Carolina Together is the new host of The Gervais Street Bridge Dinner

Past Bridge Dinner

The Gervais Street Bridge Dinner has transferred ownership from Soda City Friends to a new nonprofit, Carolina Together. The change was announced in a press release, Monday.

This date for this year’s Gervais Street Bridge Dinner is Oct. 18. Preparations have already started for the dinner.

The Gervais Street Bridge Dinner is an annual seated sunset Sunday supper on the Columbia region’s most iconic landmark, featuring live music, vibrant artists, and a three-course dinner with cocktails, beer, and wine. The GSBD is managed by non-profit event organizer Carolina Together.

The sole purpose of Carolina Together is to manage and maintain premier fundraising events for the community. There will be minimal changes to the Gervais Street Bridge Dinner.

Erin Curtis, the Gervais Street Bridge Dinner’s Event Director for the last three years, remains onboard to help manage and guide the event as it continues to grow.

In this unprecedented time, many businesses, organizations, and events must pivot in order to grow and thrive. The Gervais Street Bridge Dinner has become the marquee event for the Columbia Metropolitan area — guests attend from near and far, boundaries are pushed in a continuous quest to surprise and delight, and money is raised for local charities who work hard to make Columbia a better place to live, work, and play.
