There was a collision on US-378 near West Main Street (US-1) in Lexington. It was reported around 3:30 p.m. by Lexington Police and involved a vehicle fire and all lanes were closed.

Emergency personnel were on the scene.

The collision was cleared from the road around 4:20 p.m. Police said it was caused by a distracted driver who rear ended the vehicle in front. The at-fault driver was also Driving Under Suspension.
