One person died in a two-vehicle collision in Lexington County, early Sunday morning, according to Cpl. Tyler Tidwell of the S.C. Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at 12:51 a.m. on S.C. 6 near Blackville Road.

The driver of a 2000 Chevrolet pickup died after a collision with a 2014 Nissan Murano, said Tidwell.

There was only one peron in the pickup and one person in the Murano. The driver of the Murano was taken to Lexington Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, said Tidwell.

Both vehicles were traveling on SC 6, and one vhecile went left of center. The SCHP has not determined the direction of the vehicles. Tidwell said the SCHP’s MAIT team is investigating the crash.
