S.C. Gov. Henry McMaster is lifting the restrictions on close-contact function businesses. But the restrictions will not be lifted until May 18.

Close-contact businesses are: barber shops, hair salons, tanning booths and nail businesses. McMaster announced the lifting of restrictions Monday afternoon.

Also allowed to open are: gyms; spas; public pools; and yoga facilities

Non-essential state employees will be allowed to come back to the office, no later than June 1. But if the office is set up for work, they can return to the office, instead of work-from-home, earlier.
