Nephron Pharmaceuticals Corporation has donated 12,480 vials of life-saving respiratory medications to Americares – an organization that works in countries around the world to improve health care of those in greatest need.‬

Nephron is owned by Lexington County native Lou Kennedy, with its headquarters in West Columbia, just outside of Cayce.
