Tartan Day South in 2020 has been cancelled due to concerns about COVID-19.

All of the events from April 2, through April 5 are cancelled.

Following the recommendations of the Governor’s Office and the CDC. This is a cancellation not a postponement. Most of our vendors and athletes work the highland schedule around the Southeast. Rescheduling this size event would be very difficult.

Tartan Day South has grown into a regional event. It had patrons from 35 states visit TDS in 2019. With that in mind and in cooperation with community and municipal leaders, we made this very difficult decision.

This decision has far reaching effects, from our vendors to our cities businesses that also benefit from the influx of visitors. In these very uncertain times, this was the only decision we could make.
