Lexington County Fire Services EMS, and Batesburg-Leesville Fire Department responded to house fire in 400 block of S Bethlehem Road Thursday just before 11:30 am.

Upon arrival, first responders found heavy smoke and flames coming from the windows of the home. Firefighters began extinguishing operations and had the fire knocked down quickly.

No injuries were reported. The home sustained heavy damage from fire. Residents were displaced and will be staying with family members. An investigation into cause of the fire is underway.
