The Lexington Police Department reported a collision on Sunset Blvd. (US-378) at Scotland Drive, Wednesday evening about 6:15.

It resulted in all outbound lanes being closed. Police asked motorists to please seek an alternate route until the roadway was reopened.

The collision was caused by a driver who experienced a medical incident. He was transported by EMS to the hospital, according to Lexington Police.
