Is a new steak house coming to West Columbia?

According to its website, the Carolina Strip Club, an upper-scale steak house that was open at 902 Gervais Street in Columbia is now permanently closed.

A report in a local street tabloid said the restaurant’s owner plans to reopen the restaurant in West Columbia in 2020.

The owner of Carolina Strip Club is Mark Segal. According to Free Times he has picked out a spot in West Columbia in which to move the restaurant, but he has not disclosed where, yet.

Local developer Joe Taylor, who has an office on State Street in West Columbia, has reiterated that he has been pleased with how business-friendly the City of West Columbia is. He said there is less red tape and it takes less time to to get inspections and documentation to do business in West Columbia.
