The Batesburg-Leesville Police Department reported a double homicide that occurred Friday night.

The two killed have been identified by Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher as Richard DeQuincy Broadwater, 26, and Daniel Nathanial Robinson, 33.

At approximately 9:15 p.m., Friday, the Batesburg-Leesville Police Department responded to a residence after a call reporting that someone had been shot. When the officers arrived, they found two victims who had suffered gunshot wounds. The victims were dead at the scene.
