Bricks and Stones Pizza Company, serving authentic New York-style pizza, held its grand opening Saturday. The new restaurant is in Woodberry Plaza at 3230 Augusta Road in West Columbia. It’s in the Big Lots shopping center.

Bob and Terry Close of West Columbia are the owners of Brick and Stones is owned. The pizza made old-style in a brick oven that is heated to 800 degrees. A large pizza can be cooked in three minutes.

All the sauces and dough at Bricks and Stones are fresh and made from scratch every day.

The pizza is hand-tossed in front of the customers.
Bricks and Stones also offers appetizers, desserts, wine and craft beer.
