2nd home in 24 hours burns in Planter’s Station
Lexington County Fire Services responded to a two-story residential structure fire in the 100 block of Chisholm Circle around 11:15 Tuesday night. Chisholm Circle is in the Planter’s Station subdivision, off of Mineral Springs Road.
Upon arrival, Lexington County Fire Service crews encountered heavy smoke and flames coming from the home, according to a Lexington County report. The fire was extinguished by around 12:30 a.m. Two people were displaced by the fire, but no injuries were reported.
At about 4:30 a.m Tuesday, LCFS units responded to a house on fire on Wallace Circle in Planter’s Station. That house, that sits in the corner of
Chisholm Circle was destroyed. The two houses that burned are about 800 feet apart.
An investigation is underway for both fires.
