Lexington County Fire Service units responded to a fire in the 200 block of Wallace Circle, in the Planter’s Station subdivision, off of Mineral Springs Road,  just before 4:30 a.m. Tuesday. 

When units arrived, the house was engulfed in heavy flame and smoke. The fire was brought under control and no injuries were reported by Lexington County, but the home is a total loss.

The Red Cross of SC was called in to assist the residents of the home. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
