Snow and ice were reported on I-20, from mile marker 51-61, Thursday morning, by the S.C. Department of Transportation. No lanes were closed. On Wednesday morning, six crashes occurred because of black ice build up in I-20 in the same area.

Also inn Lexington County, I-26 East was reported as blocked at the 107 mile marker, Thursday morning, while SC HP Troopers worked to clear the roadway of a crash. The blockage was reported about 7:30 a.m.

The crash involved eight vehicles, said Master Trooper David Jones of the SC Highway patrol. There were no major injuries reported. The road should clear soon.
