Seven Lexington Two high school students have been selected to the SC Music Educators Association All-Region Orchestra.

They are:

• Airport High School: Tiaryca Green (12th grade, viola), Katie Rojas (12th grade, violin), Isabella Lanford (10th grade, violin), Allie Childs (12th grade, bass). Tiaryca Green was seated first chair violist for the entire region.
• Brookland-Cayce High School: Sofiane Lachab (10th grade, violin), Caroline Hoffman (9th grade, violin), Quinn Whitney (9th grade, viola).

Students successfully auditioned and were selected to perform in the All-Region Orchestra on November 20-21 at Irmo High School. All-Region students audition again for their seat in November. The top seats in each region are selected for the All-State Orchestra, which will take place in the spring.
