$60 million upscale apartment complex to be built off of Sunset Boulevard in West Columbia, according to newspaper report

Thirty-eight acres in West Columbia, bordered by Sunset Boulevard, Henbet Drive and Ephrata Drive, will become the site of a $60 million apartment complex.

According to a release from the real estate company NAI Columbia, Langley Pointe will be a mixed-use project that will have “Class-A housing and commercial components.” NAI Columbia helped broker the deal.

NAI Columbia’s Ben Kelly said in a statement published by The State Newspaper: “Our development team has been invested for many years to help strategically redevelop West Columbia. To make the Langley Pointe project come to fruition, we worked in close collaboration with the city of West Columbia, Lexington County, (the SC Department of Transportation) and other stakeholders.”

The apartments will have 9-foot ceilings, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and other high-end finishes, according to a release published in The State newspaper. The apartment complex will also have a resort-style pool, an outdoor kitchen and fire pit, a state-of-the-art fitness facility, a dog park and pet spa, and electric vehicle charging stations.
According to the article in The State, the apartments are expected to open by the fall 2023.
