A crew from the Irmo Fire District responded to a traffic accident on Lake Murray Boulevard between Childs Street and Woodrow Street involving six vehicles, according to the Irmo Fire District.

The wreckage started at Childs Street and ended at Woodrow. Several lanes were blocked heading toward the Lake Murray Dam. There were minor injuries sustained and there was a delay as crews worked to treat the injuries and clear the road. By 6:15 traffic was flowing at a normal rate. (Irmo Fire District photos)
