The number of COVID cases last week at Lexington Medical Center were on the decline by Friday. The numbers are published on LMC;s Facebook page.

On Friday (Oct. 8) the hospital reported 46 COVID patients, with 16 in the Intensive Care Unit. There were four COVID-related deaths reported that day.

On Wednesday (Oct 6) there were 50 hospitalized with COVID, with 21 in ICU and one death. On Thursday, there were 48 with COVID at LMC with 17 in ICU and no deaths. Most in the hospital with COVID had not been vaccinated, according to the LMC data.
