One person died in a Lexington County crash, Sunday morning.

Four vehicles were involved in the accident on US Highway 378 near Tom Drafts Circle (Gilbert) according to Master Trooper Hannah Davidson of the SC Highway Patrol.

A 2010 Ford Fusion traveling east crossed the center line and struck three vehicles traveling west: a 2019 Nissan, a 2016 Toyota Corolla, and a 2014 Ford Expedition at 11:34 a.m. Sunday.

The passenger in the Ford Fusion died at the scene; the drivers of the other vehicles were transported to the hospital.

The crash remains under investigation by the SCHP.
