There have been 48 deaths related to COVID-19 in Lexington County as of Sunday, according to the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control.

In West Columbia Zip code 29169, 245 people have tested positive for COVID-19.

In Cayce, Zip code 29033, 83 had tested positive as of Sunday. In the 29170 Zip code, that includes the Springdale area of West Columbia, there were 170 positive coronavirus tests.

There have been 712 statewide deaths of individuals with the COVID-19 infection. There have been 33,221 total positive cases confirmed in S.C. said DHEC.
