Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher is releasing the identity of a man who was shot outside of a
bar in the 1000 block of Savannah Highway in the Swansea area of Lexington County on Sunday.

Fisher states that Mr. Rodney McKensey James Jr., 23, of Wagener, SC, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead due to multiple gunshot wounds.

The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department and the Lexington County Coroner’s Office continue to investigate this incident.
