Geri Oswald, 22, has been charged with killing her father. Gerald Oswald died 12 days after his daughter, Geri Oswald, allegedly stabbed him. They lived at the same home in Lexington County.

Geri Oswald was arrested on June 1 for allegedly stabbing her father, Gerald Oswald, multiple times in the chest with a large kitchen knife.

“After speaking with Ms. Oswald and her father, detectives have determined she stabbed him multiple times in the upper body with a large kitchen knife at their home in the 200 block of Bailey Island Circle.” Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said on June 1. “Mr. Oswald was able to call out to his neighbors for help and the neighbors called 911.”

Geri Oswald was charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime, then.
She has now been charged with murder.

Geri Oswald is being held at the Lexington County Detention Center without bond.
