Crash in Lexington affects traffic flow, Tuesday

A collision on Sunset Blvd. and US-378 near Old Cherokee Road in Lexington affected had inbound lanes, Tuesday. The Lexington Police Department reported the crash around 1 p.m. Police asked drivers to be alert for emergency personnel who were on scene. Police also asked drivers to consider an alternate route until the road fully reopens.

Woman who hit tree died of medical event, says coroner

Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the motorist who died just after merging onto I-77 northbound from I-26 at approximately 11 a.m., Sunday.
