Crash temporarily closes lanes on Augusta Road in Lexington, Friday afternoon

A collision on Augusta Road (US-1) and Cedarcrest Drive in Lexington has lanes closed in both directions on Augusta Road. The Lexington Police Department reported the incident at about 1:45 p.m.. Officers are asked motorists to proceed with caution and be alert to emergency personnel in the road. Lanes were later reopened.
