Two females have were shot Monday night at Boardwalk Villas in Lexington County, according to the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department. Both were transported to the hospital. Donald Merckle and the Blacksmiths played the CMC Steel Rhythm on the River Concert Series, Sunday.  The  Mississippi Kites played the opener. CMC Steel Rhythm on the River Concert Series is from 2- 5 p.m. at the West Columbia Riverwalk Amphitheatre. It was the second of six shows at the Riverwalk, on the Fall Concert Calendar.
