The two Cayce police officers who were shot during a traffic stop early Saturday morning were released

from the hospital Monday.

“We are happy to inform everyone, that both of our Officers have been released from the hosptial! Let’s wish them a speedy recovery!” was posted on the Cayce Department of Public Safety’s Facebook page.

The State Law Enforcement Division is investigates officer-involved shootings and it’s investigating the Cayce shooting. A suspect, accused of shooting the officers, was also shot.
