Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the individual who died in a vehicle accident that occurred at approximately 11:20 p.m., Friday.

The crash occurred on U.S. 321 near Woodtrail Drive in Gaston.

According to Fisher, Mr. Barron Lorel Adams, 19, of Gaston was pronounced dead at the scene due to his injuries. Mr. Adams was traveling southbound when his vehicle left the right side of the roadway and struck a utility pole. He was not wearing a seat belt when the accident occurred.

The incident is being investigated by the Gaston Police Department.
