The Lexington Police Department was on the scene of a three-car collision on Sunset Blvd. (US-378) near Hope Ferry Road, Wednesday.

One person was transported from the scene by EMS. The cars were eventually cleared from the road. The collision was caused by a driver failing to yield the right of way when making a left turn.

Divers were being detoured through a nearby business parking lot. Police asked drivers to avoid the area until the road was reopened.
