One person was killed around 11 a.m., Sunday in a crash on I-77, at the 1 Mile Marker in Lexington County. Master Trooper David Jones of the S.C. Highway Patrol reported the fatality.

A 2013 Toyota Avalon was traveling north when the car left the interstate, veering left. The car hit a tree. The driver was declared deceased at the scene, said Jones.
