A GMC truck ran into the rear of a tractor trailer, around 7:05 p.m., Tuesday according to Master Trooper Gary Miller of the SC Highway Patrol.
The driver of the GMC truck died on the scene of the collision on I-26 eastbound near the 129 mile marker, in Lexington County. Miller said the tractor-trailer slowed in a construction area on the interstate when the GMC struck ran into the back of the tractor-trailer. SCDOT camera photo on I-26
